Iberian Minerals Mourns the Passing of Former Chairman Randy Hayward
(firmenpresse) - EDMONTON, ALBERTA -- (Marketwired) -- 06/30/16 -- Iberian Minerals Ltd. (the "Company" or "Iberian") (TSX VENTURE: IML)(OTCQB: SLDRF) is sad to announce the passing of former Chairman of the Board, Randy Hayward on June 28, 2016, at age 68.
Mr. Hayward maintained a successful law practice in Edmonton for 20 years. During the latter phase of his law practice, he founded and managed Canadian Dispute Resolution (Alberta) Ltd. and marketed the service of mediation to the legal community and the insurance industry. Over the past 20 years he worked for numerous private and public companies including Intercept Energy Services Ltd. (formally Poly-Pacific International and Global Green Matrix. Mr. Hayward served both as a director and later Chairman of the Board of Iberian Minerals from 2009 until 2014, then continued his services to the Company as a consultant and was instrumental in the re-structuring of Iberian.
The management and directors of Iberian Minerals are deeply saddened to hear of Randy's passing. Randy's wealth of knowledge, network and expertise in the public market made an invaluable contribution to our company. The entire team of Iberian Minerals extend our heartfelt condolences to his wife Georgene and family during this difficult time. Randy will be greatly missed by his many friends and family.
