PhD & DBA in Management Job Fair and Conference is a 2-day event that brings together job-seeking PhD & DBA in Management candidates and recruiters from global research-active or doctorate in Management & DBA granting universities or schools.
The events is co-organised by and , Universite Libre de Bruxelles, on 29 - 30 October 2016, with a welcome reception on Friday the 28th in the evening.

Prof. Bruno van Pottelsberghe, the Dean of Solvay Brussels School of Economics & Management, ULB, added: "There are about 500 researchers graduating from a PhD in management sciences each year in Europe and we expect at least half of them to attend the Fair in Brussels and meet recruiters from over 200 business schools and universities. Knowledge generation, market opportunities and job opportunities in research will be at the heart of the event."
During the Fair, candidates from across all areas of management - Accounting, Finance, Information Management, Management (Organisation), Managerial Economics, Marketing and Operations Management - will give 15-minute job market paper presentations, following which the recruiting teams can schedule private interviews with potential candidates of interest.
Ahead of the event, recruiters will get the opportunity to scroll through the profiles, resumes and papers of all job-seeking candidates organised by management area, and subsequently, schedule meetings with candidates during the job fair days. This way, schools and candidates have time to get to know each other, arrange fly-outs and schools' visits and negotiate contracts for the upcoming academic year.
The Job Fair will also provide a platform, where recruiting faculty can expand knowledge, broaden horizons and network with colleagues from across the world.
