Athabasca Minerals Inc. Appointment of Interim Chief Executive Officer

(firmenpresse) - EDMONTON, ALBERTA -- (Marketwired) -- 07/13/16 -- Athabasca Minerals Inc. ("Athabasca" or the "Corporation") (TSX VENTURE: ABM) announces the appointment of Mr. Don Paulencu, ICD.D, as interim Chief Executive Officer ("CEO") effective immediately. Mr. Paulencu is current Chairman and a director of Athabasca. The Corporation has commenced an executive search to fill the CEO role in a timely manner.

The Corporation announces that Mr. Scott MacDougall has resigned as CEO and President. The Corporation thanks Mr. MacDougall for his time and commitment to Athabasca Minerals and wishes him well in his future endeavours.
