Agreement Will Create Thousands of Jobs

(firmenpresse) - OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 07/13/16 -- Media Advisory - TransCanada Corporation (TSX: TRP) (NYSE: TRP) (TransCanada), four major unions and the association representing Canadian pipeline contractors and construction trade workers invite members of the media to attend a press conference to witness the signing of a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) related to TransCanada's $15.7 billion Energy East Pipeline Project. The MOU means employment for thousands of Canadian workers to build the 4,500-kilometre pipeline.
