Judgment of the Commercial Court related to the MCS published on the Ageas website

The judgment of the Commercial Court of Brussels dated 8/11/2010 related to the
Mandatory Convertible Securities (MCS) is published on the websitewww.ageas.com.
On 8 November 2010, a general meeting of holders of the MCS took place in
Brussels.
As a consequence of the judgment rendered the same day by the President of the
Commercial Court of Brussels acting in summary proceedings, the effects of the
decisions of this meeting are suspended as well as any other decision that would
be taken by the MCS holders' general meeting with a view to changing the MCS
maturity date of 7 December 2010 or to preventing the conversion into Ageas
shares on 7 December 2010 (see press release of 8 November 2010).
