ISG-Group develops new wind tunnel model
Gladbeck, 1. August 2016. Indoor Skydiving Germany Group (ISG), German manufacturer of high performance freefall simulators, has developed a new wind tunnel model especially designed for the increasingly popular entertainment sector.
(firmenpresse) - ISG One GmbH, which is specialized on wind tunnels with a unique high quality airflow generating system, is happy to anounce the development of a new wind tunnel model.
In the last years the need for cost and space saving freefall simulators with particular low noise emissions has rapidly increased. To react to those needs, ISG One GmbH developed a new wind tunnel model.
Major key facts of this new technology are low investment and construction costs, very space saving structure including low building height and reduced construction depth, short assembly times and low noise emissions. The aerodynamic layout was optimised for the needs of the entertainment market.
Boris Nebe, managing partner of ISG-Group: “With this new development it will be possible in the future to integrate our wind tunnel systems even more easy into existing structures and achieve a wide coverage of freefall simulators to access even bigger markets.“
In addition to this new entertainment wind tunnel modell, ISG-Group will invest in continously improving its highly successful proflyer modells (ISG 12.800, ISG 14.1200 and ISG 17.1600) to maintain its technology leadership in this market.
The wind tunnel technology of ISG-Group was developed in cooperation with the aerospace department of the Technical University of Berlin and other aeronautical engineering companies and is internationally recognized for its energy efficiency, safety and airflow quality. The first reference facility opened in 2009 in Bottrop, Germany (Indoor Skydiving Bottrop GmbH – www.indoor-skydiving.com). Since then ISG-Group has built and started multiple wind tunnel facilities for customers; many additional projects are in construction or planning phase.
