ESSA, the leading association of the security industry, shows its presence at the Security 2016 in Essen. The fair will take place from 27 to 30 September 2016. The ESSA is again an official partner of the Security.
The Security in Essen opens its doors every two years. It is regarded as the most important fair for security and fire prevention in the world. The world market for security is booming. For a period of four days starting on 27 September 2016, interested visitors can get information about the innovations in this industry ranging from fire protection to cyber security and CCTV through to perimeter security

As already with previous fairs, the ESSA acts as an official partner of the Security and can be found in Hall 12 at Stand A05. ESSA General Manager Dr. Markus Heering was elected as Vice Chairman of the Advisory Board for the fair. Nearly 1000 companies from approximately 40 nations are presenting their products within the scope of civil security at the fair. “For the ESSA as the leading security association the fair is an excellent opportunity to present itself to a broad international audience,” says Dr. Heering. At present, the ESSA has 142 members from 36 countries.
Already at the fair, the jubilee of the Security Association will be heralded. In 2017, the ESSA will celebrate its 50th anniversary. In honour of this occasion, a brochure addressed to insurance companies and customers will be presented during the fair in Essen.
It is intended to give users an insight into older types of safes. In addition, it is a compilation of information about older and the latest security levels and test requirements.
