leaders assembled in Barcelona, Spain this week as the Strategic and Competitive
Intelligence Professionals (SCIP) hosted the largest European CI event: the
2010 European Competitive Intelligence Summit. The event brought together CI
leaders from all industries to discuss new opportunities in CI, linking CI and
strategy to drive results, and identifying megatrends to move business forward.
The event audience represented a cross-section of industries, with the majority
coming from Chemicals, Materials and Food, Healthcare, and Information and
Communication Technologies; 73 percent of the audience was manager-level and
above.
