Join CERATIZIT at the AMB in Stuttgart
The competence brand Cutting Solutions by CERATIZIT will be showcasing for the first time the 'CERATIZIT 3x3' concept and informing its customers about the MaxiMill 491 shoulder milling system, launched successfully in April 2016, as well as other new products from its standard portfolio. Toolmaker Solutions by CERATIZIT will additionally present solutions for the manufacture of solid carbide tools.
Visit CERATIZIT at the AMB in Stuttgart(firmenpresse) - Ranking among the top five in the industry worldwide, the AMB international metalworking exhibition will be held from 13 to 17 September in Stuttgart.
In hall 2, stand B06 CERATIZIT (www.ceratizit.com) will be unveiling its 'CERATIZIT 3x3' concept as well as showcasing the recently launched shoulder milling system MaxiMill 491and the new high-performance cermet grade COLORSTAR CTEP110. Moreover, visitors are welcome to learn more about the MaxiDrill 900 insert drill (www.ceratizit.com/products/metal-cutting/list/detail/?product=65&cHash=47df023a00e32647a01317b63301d8c5) as well as carbide grades and blanks for the production of solid carbide tools and shanks.
'CERATIZIT 3x3' concept
As a creative partner to the industry, on this occasion the carbide manufacturer has designed an innovative complete package that offers a seamlessly well-structured portfolio – one that makes it much easier for customers to choose the most economically effective solution. "With our user-friendly 3x3 concept, customers have no trouble finding the solutions for their daily challenges. Complexity is a thing of the past", explains Dr Uwe Schleinkofer, Head of Development at Cutting Solutions by CERATIZIT.
MaxiMill 491
With the MaxiMill 491 milling system, CERATIZIT is exploring new avenues in technological terms. "We have rethought the shoulder milling process and made it easy," explains Dr Uwe Schleinkofer, Head of Development at Cutting Solutions by CERATIZIT. The new shoulder milling system relies on precision inserts with eight usable cutting edges to produce profiles of exactly 90°.
Highlights of the standard product portfolio
Additional product highlights from Cutting Solutions by CERATIZIT at the AMB are the successful MaxiDrill 900 and recently developed products and programme extensions of the standard product portfolio. One of these is the highly innovative new cermet grade COLORSTAR CTEP110 with a multi-layer Al2O3 coating exemplifying the latest technology in the nano range.
Solutions for producers of solid carbide tools
Toolmaker Solutions by CERATIZIT offers information about the extended range of carbide grades. These include the exceptionally tough CTS25D and CTS30D grades for the production of cutting tools, while grade CTF25E features excellent resistance to breakage in PCD tools and tool shanks. The extended portfolio of blanks for drills and milling cutters includes new diameters for drill blanks up to 5xD with through-coolant and more than 50 new dimensions for end mill blanks.
