Vancouver, August 30, 2016 - 92 Resources Corp. (the Company) (TSX.V: NTY) (FSE: R9G2) provides the following update on the summer 2016 exploration program at the companys wholly owned Hidden Lake Lithium Property, NWT, which is situated within the central parts of the Yellowknife Lithium Pegmatite Belt along Highway 4, approximately 40 km east of Yellowknife.
Channel sampling of Pegmatite LU D12 has been completed with crews utilizing rock saws to collect samples perpendicular to the trend of the pegmatite, at roughly equal intervals. As previously reported, seven samples collected from this pegmatite returned between 1.27 and 3.01 per cent Li2O from within an area measuring about 10 by 300 meters. The Phase II exploration program included the collection of 85 samples from 15 channels across the LU D12 pegmatite. Samples have been forwarded to Activation Laboratories Ltd. in Kamloops; results will be reported as soon as they become available.
In addition to channel sampling of LU D12, at least three other pegmatites identified from satellite imagery, all within a short distance west of Pegmatite LU D12, have now been examined by field crews from Dahrouge Geological Consulting Ltd., Edmonton Alberta. All three are observed to contain appreciable amounts of spodumene and are comparable in tenor to LU D12. Though the company wishes to caution that none of the three additional pegmatites have been sampled as of yet, channel sampling of those is currently underway. The company also wishes to caution that visual estimates of spodumene should not be considered a reliable guide as to lithium content. Satellite imagery indicates that the surface extents of the three other pegmatites are similar to or are greater than LU D12.
