iPass and Uber Extend Term of Successful Partnership to Offer Unlimited iPass Wi-Fi in Rio de Janeiro
International Uber Riders Will Have Access to Free Wi-Fi Until the End of September
(firmenpresse) - REDWOOD SHORES, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 09/12/16 -- (NASDAQ: IPAS), the leading provider of global mobile connectivity, and today announced an extension of their partnership to provide international Uber riders with free Wi-Fi in Rio de Janeiro. First announced on August 5, 2016, the partnership provides with unlimited access to more than 1,160 iPass commercial hotspots in Rio de Janeiro. The promotion will now run through September 30.
Across the Brazilian city, iPass connects people where they want by offering Wi-Fi coverage in luxury hotels, popular districts, iconic Copacabana and Ipanema, and near the topical sporting event venues.
