today announced, in accordance with Article 14 of the Belgian Law of 2 May 2007
regarding the publication of major shareholdings in issuers whose securities are
admitted to trading on a regulated market (the "Transparency Law"), that it
received a notification of shareholdings from Oppenheimer Funds, Inc.
Oppenheimer Funds, Inc. notified Ablynx that they have dropped below the 3%
threshold on 12 September 2016 and now hold 1,734,184 Ablynx shares,
representing 2.85% of the current 60,910,744 outstanding Ablynx shares.
