Michael Kennedy transfers from Microsoft to SAM Live!

(firmenpresse) - SAM Live!, Managed Services expert in Software Asset Management (SAM), welcomes renowned SAM expert Michael Kennedy to its management team. Kennedy worked previously for Microsoft for six years, where he was responsible for the transformation and implementation of the global SAM Partner Program. For SAM Live! he will be tasked with heading the Sales and Business Development areas in the USA. The qualified management expert has extensive expertise in Go-to-Market Strategy, Software as a Service (SaaS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM).

Kennedy had worked for the software company in Redmond since 2012. Before that he worked on a freelance basis for two years for Microsoft collaborating on various SAM projects. In that period, Kennedy helped Microsoft's SAM partners worldwide improve their value delivery for their clients. He graduated in Business Administration from the prestigious Michael G. Foster School of Business of the University of Washington. Participants of the German Microsoft Partner Conference 2015 know Kennedy from his presentation on "SAM and Compliance".

Kennedy heard about SAM Live! at Microsoft's Swiss branch, where colleagues told him about a partner company providing full-range SAM services without being affiliated with Microsoft's SAM Partner Program. That piqued his curiosity and he met with Dieter Müller, founder and co-executive director of SAM Live! at the Microsoft Partner Conference in Switzerland. "I understood that SAM Live! is suitable for any company that seeks to offer customized SAM Managed Services to its clients," remembers Kennedy. He left Microsoft to join the SAM Live! team. "I'd would like to serve our partners by offering the best available Software Asset Management service," says Kennedy. He believes the major difference with SAM Live! is that SAM partners don't have to invest large sums in order to offer their clients comprehensive cloud-based Software Asset Management.

With Michael Kennedy, the company is expanding its expertise yet further with another experienced IT manager who will now establish the US market for Managed Services with SAM Live!.
