As a healthcare executive with many years of experience working with physician practices in Southern California, Michael Roub knows the impact this condition can have on families. Immediately after his wife’s diagnosis, Michael began to volunteer for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, an advocacy group of the American Cancer Society. He was instrumental in helping the organization boost donation funding; by leveraging his business skills and experience in finance, Michael spearheaded campaigns to raise money for the organization’s Southern California chapter. His work raised awareness of the condition and helped the organization provide valuable resources to cancer patients and breast cancer survivors alike. After surgery and chemotherapy, Michael’s wife Lisa regained her health and joined him in the fight to beat the disease. Some of the volunteer work Michael and his wife provided included events to honor fellow breast cancer survivors, and the money he was instrumental in raising went to cutting-edge breast cancer research conducted by the American Cancer Society.
Michael Roub has been a business executive for over 20 years. He is a graduate of the Wharton School of Business and earned an MBA from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business. Before transitioning into the healthcare field, he served as an investment banker for several firms in California and Texas. His expertise in managing complex physician practices and medical business operations made him a valuable resource for many companies. His skill in transforming medical group practices earned him a reputation for expertise in all aspects of business development.
