Mr. David (Dave) King (B.Sc. (Eng)) has been appointed Area President of
Valmet's North America area as of 15 November, 2016. He will be a member of
Valmet's Executive Team and report to President and CEO Pasi Laine.
David King is currently employed at Valmet as Senior Vice President, Pulp and
Energy, North America. During his career David has gained vast leadership
experience in several management positions covering services, sales and business
development in Valmet, Metso and ABB. He has gained extensive experience in the
power generation industry, in customer relationship management and in team
leadership.
Mr. William (Bill) Bohn, the current Area President, North-America has decided
to retire in March, 2017.

David King's CV
David King has been appointed NA Area President as of November 15, 2016.
Prior to that he was employed as Senior Vice President, Pulp and Energy, NA
at Valmet (2013-2016). Mr. King has worked in many different positions in
Metso: President of Metso Power, NA (2005-2013), General Manager of Service
(2002-2005), Vice President of Sales (2000-2002), and Director of Product
Sales (1998-2000). Mr. King worked as Senior Manager of Industrial Business
(1996-1998), Business Development Manager, Projects (1994-1996), Program
Manager, Material Services (1993-1994), Area Manager, Technical Services
(1989-1993), and as Field-Principal Engineer (1981-1989) at ABB. Mr. King
holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
