Addtech acquires Electra-Box Diagnostica

Addtech Life Science, a business area in the Addtech Group, has today signed an
agreement to acquire all shares outstanding in Electra-Box Diagnostica AB.

Electra-Box Diagnostica AB is parent company in the Electra-Box group with
subsidiaries in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. The Electra-Box group of
companies sells reagents and instrumentation to laboratories performing clinical
diagnostics and medical research. The group has a strong position in the Nordic
market and represents leading suppliers within the fields of autoimmunity,
transplantation immunology, microbiology and others. The Electra-Box group has
twenty-eight employees and a revenue of approximately SEK 110 million.

The Electra-Box group constitutes an excellent compliment to Addtech's
operations within the business unit Diagnostics. This business unit focuses on
sales of reagents and equipment for hospital laboratories in the entire Nordic
Region.

The closing will take place today and the acquisition is estimated to have a
marginally positive effect on Addtech's earnings per share during the current
financial year.
