The Belimo Group, global leader in the field of actuator solutions for heating,
ventilation and air conditioning systems, can look back on a good business year
in 2010. The European markets recovered quickly from the downturn in 2009, and
in the Americas, expectations were exceeded. Growth in Asia/Pacific was once
again significantly higher than the previous year.
Sales rose by 10.5 percent in 2010 to CHF 426 million. Adjusted for currencies,
this is equivalent to a growth of 14.7 percent. Growth in Europe was 15.4
percent, in the Americas 11.5 percent and in Asia/Pacific 23.4 percent. Air and
water applications grew by 13.8 percent and 16.2 percent respectively.
The Belimo Group expects a very good operating result (EBIT) and a solid profit
despite negative currency effects. Detailed information on the 2010 financial
year will be announced at the media information session on March 14, 2011.
