IBUg - international line-up
Starting on Saturday 15 August the former VEB Leuchtenbau building in Poststraße 58 in Meerane will be the artistic dwelling place for about 30 artists of the Street Art and Graffiti scene. Apart from german Artists (for example Tasso and Loomit), further artists from Switzerland (Chromeo), England (Faunagraphic), Korea (JNJ Crew and Mogi) and Holland (Fons and Mo-Can) said they’re coming to the creative transformation of the industrial plant that has not been used for years.
(firmenpresse) - The transformation phase will last until 27 August and changes are made by the artistic forms of expression Street Art, Graffiti and installations with discovered things. Also this year there is no special subject about the industrial wasteland transformation – so imagination knows no bounds. On 28 August from 2 o’clock you can visit the vernissage with coffee and cake and see what happened to the creative free space in this almost two-week productive period. The interested population is cordially invited. On the following two open house days from 10 am to 8 pm there will be the opportunity to open oneself to the transformation of Meerane’s former VEB Leuchtenbau, to talk to the artists and to buy smaller versions of their further works in the gallery on the spot. Between Graffiti, Street Art and installations the big IBUg After show party will take place on 29 August at 9 o’clock.
