Berlin, 14 February 2011 - Management of Design Hotels AG (ISIN DE0005141006/
WKN 514100) has decided today with approval of the Supervisory Board to transfer
the listing of its shares from the regulated market at the Munich stock exchange
to m:access within the Freiverkehr segment at the Munich stock exchange. The
Company will submit the respective applications with the Munich exchange. The
Company anticipates that the Munich stock exchange will approve the applications
for continuation of listing of the shares of the Company in the market segment
m:access and that following a transition period listing of the shares on the
regulated market will be discontinued in the second quarter of 2011.
m:access is a market segment at the Munich stock exchange that is particularly
attractive for smaller and medium-sized companies. In addition to the statutory
requirements, m:access provides for a number of publication requirements and
obligations subsequent to stock exchange admission for the companies listed in
this segment that guarantee a high level of transparency for investors.
Considering the Company's size and market capitalization, Management considers
m:access an appropriate market for the shares in terms of cost/benefit
structure, which at the same time provides for the interests of the
shareholders.
Due to its regulatory framework and in particular the publication and
transparency requirements, m:access operates as a fully functional market with
protective mechanisms similar to those of the regulated market and which
guarantees marketability of the shares.
