Rosh Ha'ayin, February 24, 2011 Wizcom Technologies, the world's leading
producer of portable scanning pens, today announced that Mr. Gideon Ben-Zvi has
been appointed as its new Chairman of the Board of Directors
In 1999, Mr. Ben-Zvi founded Ligature, which forms the technology foundation of
Wizcom Technologies and as a result has had a long-standing involvement with and
understanding of the company. Mr. Ben-Zvi currently is a partner at AVIV
Venture Capital, where he is responsible for consumer technology investments.
He furthermore serves on the board of several other technology companies, such
as BriefCam Ltd, where he holds the position of active Chairman.
Mr. Ben-Zvi has shown his commitment to the Company by participating in the
2009 financing round. He furthermore increased his holding in the Company to
9.7% recently through open market transactions.
Shimon Amouyal, CEO for Wizcom stated, "We are very happy that Gideon has agreed
to become Chairman of the Company. He was instrumental in developing the
technology that forms the basis of our class leading products. Furthermore, he
has also shown great commercial acumen, both during his time at Ligature and as
founder or Board Member with other companies, returning substantial yields to

greater engagement with the Company through his new role."

Mr. Ben-Zvi will assist Management in opening the Japanese market and will hold
responsibility for the Company's dealings with the financial community.
