(PresseBox) - International Drone Expo and Summit/IDE 2017 will be held at the GSMA Mobile World Congress from February, 27th to March 2nd, 2017 in the NEXTech hall at Fiera Gran Via in Barcelona.
Hall 8.0 showcases technologies in drones, robotics, artificial intelligence, virtual reality/augmented reality (VR/AR) and Internet of Things (IOT). Several of the leading commercial and industrial drone manufactures will demonstrate the potential of drone technology on-site, including the largest drone producer in the world; DJI.
The drone industry has a large demand for more mobile connectivity, and the market for UAV data needs is expected to grow drastically over the next 10 years. The data storage potential for drones is very high. A single drone can capture gigabytes of data in a matter of minutes, but the ability to transmit that data is currently limited. Drone users and mobile industry players are exploring the possibilities to integrate mobile connectivity technology directly into drones and UAV base stations to extend the possibilities.
International Drone Expo and Summit held on March 2nd, 2017 presents high-level panel discussions and sessions about integrating mobile technologies in the drone business.
