Vancouver, BC - March 22, 2011: BonTerra Resources Inc. (BTR: TSXV; FSE: 9BR)
(the "Company", "BonTerra") has recently mobilized a new NQ sized drill rig
capable of drilling to depths of 1500 metres on the Eastern Extension property.
In addition, the Company has brought 800 barrels of fuel to the site to enable
an aggressive summer drill program once the current phase of winter drilling is
complete. This was done before the winter road breaks up to ensure the Company
can continue advancing the property in the summer months. BonTerra continues to
utilize AlXtreme Drilling of Val d'Or, Quebec for its currently ongoing drill
program.
In addition the Company has completed drilling 7 more holes in the current drill
program totaling approximately 1400 metres. These 7 holes have been logged,
sampled and sent to be assayed for gold by ALS Chemex in Val d'Or, Quebec. The
Company awaits assays for these holes.
Mitchell Adam, President, states, "BonTerra is in the process of making sure the
logistics of the coming spring breakup allow us to utilize the camp rig and crew
and continue to develop the Eastern Extension drilling without delay. BonTerra
has brought in a large rig and decided to spend over a quarter of a million
dollars on fuel delivery alone to guarantee we can keep the drills turning on
the Eastern Extension. The goal of the Company is to test the outer reaches of
the gold zones with the intent on focusing on infill drilling in the future."
The technical information in this news release has been prepared in accordance
with the Canadian regulatory requirements set out in National Instrument 43-101
and reviewed on behalf of the Company by Thomas Clarke, Pr.Sci.Nat, a qualified
person and a Director of BonTerra. The drill program and sampling is being
supervised on behalf of the Company by Geologica Inc. of Val d'Or, Quebec.
