Statkraft AS has today successfully issued a EUR 500 million bond with a
maturity of 8 years. The issuance was made under the company's existing EMTN
programme.

The proceeds from the issue will be used for general corporate purposes.
The issuance gathered good demand with the order book well oversubscribed.
Barclays, BNP Paribas, Danske Bank and Goldman Sachs International acted as
joint bookrunners for this transaction.
