Valmet Oyj's press release on March 14, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. EET

Valmet will supply automation for Mols-Linien's RoPax vessel built by Rauma
Marine Constructions (RMC).

The order was included in Valmet's fourth quarter of 2016 orders received. The
value of the order will not be disclosed. The delivery will take place in
December 2017.

The order was placed by Telesilta, a Finnish marine electrical contracting
company, which will integrate Valmet's automation system into the other systems
on the vessel. In the past, Telesilta and Valmet have cooperated closely on many
marine projects, for example, the automation of the harbor icebreaker Ahto, the
commuter vessel Otava and the oil recovery vessel Hylje.

"We are pleased to be the main contractor of the electrical systems and their
installation on the Mols-Linien RoPax vessel. As the first new-build project for
RMC, it is extremely important for both of us to carry out the project well,
from the project start all the way until the end of the warranty period. Since
we have successfully cooperated with Valmet in the past and have good experience
with the Valmet DNA system in earlier projects, Valmet was a natural choice for
us as an integrated automation system supplier," says Niko Karlsson, Project
Engineer, Telesilta.

Vessel optimized for the Baltic Sea

The 158-meter-long RoPax (roll-on/roll-off passenger) vessel will be built at
the Rauma Marine Constructions (RMC) shipyard in Rauma, Finland. Designed and
optimized for use on Mols-Linien's Danish route between Rønne on the Baltic
island of Bornholm to Køge, southwest of Copenhagen, the vessel is scheduled to
start operation in September 2018.

The vessel will have capacity for up to 600 passengers. It has two car decks,
totaling 1,500 lane meters, able to take a mix of trucks, trailers, passenger

cars, vans and buses.

Valmet will supply automation for Mols-Linien's RoPax vessel that is built by
Rauma Marine Constructions and optimized for use on Mols-Linien's route between
Rønne on the Baltic island of Bornholm south of Sweden to Køge, southwest of
Copenhagen, Denmark.

Information about Valmet's delivery

Valmet's delivery for the new vessel includes a Valmet DNA integrated automation
system (IAS) to cover the control, alarm and monitoring of machinery systems.
Additionally, the delivery includes training and commissioning. Telesilta will
be responsible for system installation.
