Vancouver, BC, Canada - March 16, 2017 - Equitorial Exploration Corp. (TSX-V: EXX, Frankfurt: EE1) (Equitorial or Company) is pleased to announce, that the Company has submitted an application to list its shares for trading on the OTCQB markets in the United States.
Listing on the OTCQB makes Equitorial shares much more accessible to US investors. With our already existing Frankfurt presence (EE1) a listing on the OTCQB will further widen our investor base outside of Canada, comments Equitorial CEO Jack Bal.
In addition, the Company has initiated the process of making its common shares eligible for book-entry delivery and depository services of The Depository Trust Company (the "DTC") to facilitate electronic settlement of transfers of its common shares in the United States.DTC Eligibility means that a public company's securities can be deposited through DTC. DTC serves as the centralized clearinghouse for more than 50 exchanges and equity trading platforms in the U.S., maintaining multiple data and operating centers worldwide and providing strong business continuity and around-the-clock support. Their depository provides custody and asset servicing for securities issued from 131 countries.
