Brand new: the EXO304 Tracer opens up possibilities for entirely new applications
SVS-Vistek is broadening the range of applications for machine vision with the EXO304 Tracer and variable lens systems.
The EXO304 Tracer - Machine vision is becoming dynamic(firmenpresse) - The EVO Tracer set standards as an industrial camera with controllable Micro Four Thirds lens systems. With the new EXO304 Tracer, SVS-Vistek is taking this successful system one step further towards greater resolution in industrial machine vision, once again widening the scope for possible applications for industrial machine vision.
The new EXO304TR combines the advantages of an imaging system featuring completely controllable lenses (zoom, focus, aperture) with the outstanding image quality of the Sony IMX sensors. MFT lenses are ideally suited for the sensor size of 1.1” in terms of the optical beam path, thus guaranteeing a perfect image with this sensor.
Machine vision integration of the EXO304TR is effortless thanks to its native lens control, GigE Vision interface and GenTL layer as the lens can also be controlled via the GenICam properties.
The EXO304TR is currently the only industrial camera to offer the convenience and flexibility of first-class adaptive lens systems together with a high 12MP resolution and an outstanding dynamic range of 72 dB. The extended temperature range with a maximum operating temperature of +60°C makes it ideal for difficult day-to-day industrial conditions.
With this unique combination of excellent image quality, high resolution, variable lens systems and perfect machine vision integration, SVS-Vistek is opening up entirely new areas of industrial machine vision, making many image processing applications simpler or even possible in the first place.
