SEB Announces Closing of Second Tranche of $1.5 Million Unit Offering

(firmenpresse) - MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 03/31/17 -- Smart Employee Benefits Inc. ("SEB" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE: SEB) announces that is has closed a second tranche of its $1.5 million unit offering (the "Offering").

Aggregate proceeds of $500,000 were raised on this second tranche closing. 2,500,000 units (each a "Unit") were issued at a price of $0.20 per Unit. Each Unit consists of one common share of the Company and one transferable common share purchase warrant of the Company (a "Warrant"). Each Warrant is exercisable into one common share of the Company at a price of $0.30 per share and has a term of 18 months from the date of issuance.

All securities issued in connection with this second tranche of the Offering will be subject to a four-month hold period expiring July 31, 2017. Proceeds from this second tranche of the Offering will be used for repayment of debt and working capital purposes.

A total of $725,000 has been raised pursuant to the Offering thus far, and it is expected that the Offering will close in one additional tranche.
