The refurbishment of the kitchen comprised of removal of the internal walls necessitated two steel beams and a new lintel was installed to raise the height of the former bathroom window to match that of the other. A new metal framed ceiling was installed to correct the ceiling heights and to hide the beams.
In addition the room was re-wired and plumbed including removal of the old system boiler and associated water tanks. With a new boiler installed, and new access created via French doors from the dining area, this bright and fresh new space will be a pleasure for the family to use in the years to come.
