Stavanger, 5 May 2011: Norwegian Energy Company ASA (Noreco, OSE:NOR) in April
2011 produced 11,575 barrels of oil equivalents (boe) per day. Net realised oil
price was USD 119 per boe after adjustments for oil put options, inventory and
NGL and gas prices.
Total production from the Siri area fields in April was about 16,275 boe/day
(6,000 boe/day net to Noreco). Noreco's equity production per field: Siri 2,025
boe/day, Nini East 2,325 boe/day, Nini 1,050 boe/day, Cecilie 600 boe/day.
Brage produced around 28,300 boe/day (3,500 net) in April. Drilling of the
combined exploration and production well A-14 is temporarily stopped. The Arran
prospect did not contain hydrocarbons, and the plan is now to use the well for
oil production from another reservoir section. A 15-20 days maintenance stop is
scheduled on Brage in May/June. This is already reflected in the company's
production estimate for the year.
South Arne production was around 25,200 boe/day (1,650 net).
Net production to Noreco from each of the Lulita and Enoch fields was 325 and
100 boe/day respectively.
Production volumes and prices are preliminary and subject to adjustments,
including final allocations between fields, quality adjustments and prices.
