Contemplating tier 1 perpetual bond issue and redemption of tier 1 capital from the Norwegian State Finance Fund

Reference is made to the Q4 2010 and Q1 2011 presentation and the announcement
of Sandnes Sparebank's ("the Bank") potential refinancing of the tier 1 capital
from the Norwegian State Finance Fund during the first half of 2011.
The Bank currently considers an issue of up to NOK 450 million in a callable
tier 1 perpetual bond with floating rate. The proceeds will be used to partially
or fully redeem the NOK 450 million tier 1 capital from the Norwegian State
Finance Fund.
The bond issue was authorised by the Representative meeting (Forstanderskapet)
in Sandnes Sparebank 31 March 2011. The approval and accompanying guidelines
related to the refinancing is given by letter from the Financial Supervisory
Authority of Norway (Finanstilsynet) as of 15 April 2011.
Fondsfinans ASA and Pareto Securities AS have been appointed as managers for the
bond issue.
