(Thomson Reuters ONE) - Songa Offshore SE is pleased to announce that a drilling contract hasbeen concluded and agreed with Woodside Energy Ltd for utilization ofthe semi-submersible Songa Mercur for a drilling campaign of up to 3wells on North Western Shelf of Australia, total contract duration isestimated at up to 75 days with possible additional extensionsthereafter.The contract includes an initial part that covers standby of the rigat an agreed day rate in Dampier while obtaining necessary approvalsfor the upcoming program, the operating part of the contract isscheduled to commence immediately after the rig is accepted and allapprovals and formalities have been obtained.
