1855 announces today the launch of its "Life in rosy hues" evening for another
unique experience. The event will take place on Thursday, 26 May 2011 at the
Grand Hôtel Intercontinental, located at 2, rue Scribe in Paris.
The possibility to taste up to 30 different rosé wines in one evening
The programme for 1855's "Life in rosy hues" evening includes 30 rosé wines:
* Pink champagnes: Dehours, Henriot, Laurent Perrier, Ruinart.
* Rosé wines from Provence: Calissanne, Mireille Vineyard, Sainte Magdeleine
Vineyard, La Croix, "Bau"Distillery of Provence, Malherbe, Ollières, Ott
Romassan, Peyrassol, Saint Martin, Sainte-Roseline.
* Rhone Valley: Montirius, Le Joncier.
* Languedoc: M. Chapoutier, Les Côteaux du Pic, Daumas, Gassac, La Negly, La
Rectorie, Villerambert Julien.
* Bordeaux: Rosé de Chevalier, Thieuley.
* Other great wines: André Delorme, Bedin Spumante, Charles Audoin, Capitoro
Vineyard, Punto Nino, Saint-André de Figuière.
The owners of each vineyard will present the wines.
A very affordable price
The price for a ticket is 19.90 euros, including taxes.
The clientèle is an average age of 35, and 50% are women
The profile of the participants at 1855's evenings is the following:
* Average age: 35 years old
* Women: 50% of the participants, while 1855's classic clientele is 97% men.
