This year Outokumpu also receivedthe highest possible score in two sustainability criteria:environmental reporting as well as occupational health and safety.SAM, the investment company focused exclusively on sustainabilityinvesting together with Dow Jones Indexes and STOXX Ltd, two leadingglobal index providers, have informed the results of the 2009 annualreview for the Dow Jones Sustainability and Dow Jones STOXXSustainability indexes.The DJSI follow a best-in-class approach and include sustainabilityleaders from each industry on a global and regional levelrespectively. The annual review of the DJSI family is based on athorough analysis of corporate economic, environmental and socialperformance, assessing issues such as corporate governance, riskmanagement, branding, climate change mitigation, supply chainstandards and labor practices. It accounts for general as well asindustry specific sustainability criteria.
