EDB ErgoGroup and PocketMobile agree to collaborate

(Oslo, 1 June 2011) Norway's largest IT company, EDB ErgoGroup, has entered into
a collaboration agreement with PocketMobile that will enhance EDB ErgoGroup's
ability to deliver mobile solutions rapidly and effectively to its customers.
The collaboration will allow EDB ErgoGroup to develop and deliver mobile
solutions and applications based on PocketMobile's platform known as PreCom.
PreCom is the leading Nordic platform in the Mobile Enterprise Application
Platforms (MEAP) category.
Everyday life for Norwegians is becoming ever more mobile, both at work and in
their private lives. As a result, it is increasingly important that EDB
ErgoGroup's customers have access to high-quality and user-friendly mobile
solutions.

The future is mobile
The mobile telephones and other hand-held devices of tomorrow, combined with
access to wireless broadband, will create an entirely new reality for users.
With the help of this technology, together with new mobile solutions and
applications, it will be possible to offer services that users can access the
moment they need them, regardless of where they are at the time. EDB ErgoGroup
currently offers mobile solutions for a range of sectors and industries, and
these are attracting great interest from Norwegian banks and other customers.
The collaboration with PocketMobile will allow EDB ErgoGroup to expand into
offering solutions for sectors such as transport & logistics, field service &
installation and security & surveillance, as well as health care and social
care.
In the first instance, EDB ErgoGroup will use the PreCom platform through its
collaboration with PocketMobile to develop new solutions in the following
areas:
* Fuel economy and vehicle fleet management - real-time information on driving
behaviour and savings in fuel consumption
* Mobile order management - real-time information on order processing,
deliveries and exceptions
* Global positioning and navigation for the transport & logistics sector
* Social care sector (home care) - mobile access to all duties - online
updating of exceptions and completed tasks
* Streamlined administration through digital management of service tasks and
asset registers
