Providing Real Time Performance Monitoring of Mission Critical Trading
Infrastructure

New York, 27 June, 2011 - Thomson Reuters has teamed with ITRS Group, a leading
provider of real-time systems management technology, to deliver real-time
visibility and performance monitoring of a financial firm's market data, trading
and risk management infrastructure. This capability enables Thomson Reuters
Enterprise Platform and Elektron customers to reduce the total cost of ownership
and the complexity of managing their distributed applications.

Globally financial firms are challenged by the growing cost and complexity of
running high-performance trading infrastructures, as well as the increased
regulatory pressure to manage the operational risk of potential systems outages.
They also need the ability to quickly identify critical issues and to
distinguish between problems within the business, external to the enterprise,
and at co-located, hosted sites.

To address this requirement, Thomson Reuters and ITRS are collaborating to
provide enterprise-wide monitoring and management capabilities for multiple
trading and risk applications, along with the data and infrastructure solutions
that power them, delivering vital intelligence on operational performance for
mission-critical systems.

The capability provides real-time visibility into the performance of the Thomson
Reuters Enterprise Platform for Real-Time, and includes features such as
automated load balancing tools to ensure continuous systems optimization.
Thomson Reuters will also evolve the service to offer the same detailed systems
management support for its Elektron Hosting environment.

Terry Roche, Global Head of Real-Time Information and Platform, Enterprise,
Thomson Reuters, said:  "In today's competitive market, data and infrastructure

are key elements to a financial firm's business strategy, and ensuring that
these systems are continuously optimized is crucial to success. Our relationship
with ITRS allows us to provide our customers with detailed real-time knowledge
to monitor the health of every component in their trading architectures, whether
deployed locally or accessed as hosted solutions via Elektron - our global
infrastructure"

Kevin Covington, CEO of ITRS Group, said: "Thomson Reuters Elektron and the
Enterprise Platform support the world's largest financial marketplace, and ITRS
is very pleased to be integrated into this community of best in class and
innovative offerings. Today's trading environment requires proactive management
of enterprise data and trading infrastructures, which comprise both in-house
deployed and vendor-hosted technologies. The critical nature of these complex
real-time environments necessitates maintaining end-to-end visibility of systems
performance to assure service quality in terms of speed, capacity and
reliability."

The Thomson Reuters Enterprise Platform for Real-Time together with Elektron
have the ability to power trading operations across the globe with a flexible
connectivity and information fabric that supports any enterprise data
requirement. The Enterprise Platform for Real-Time is fully functional, with in-
built data integration, transformation and administration tools, and has been
architected for efficiency, with a fault-tolerant multi-threaded software
architecture to maximize throughput and reliability, and a streamlined binary
data model to optimize bandwidth utilization.
