Veidekke ASA: Approaches major contract

The Board of Nye Veier AS has nominated Veidekke Entreprenør AS for the contract
to build the new E6 road between Arnkværn and Moelv in Hedmark. The contract is
valued at NOK 2.3 billion excluding VAT.
It was announced in July that Veidekke had submitted the best bid in the
competition for the huge contract. Following a successful specification phase
between Nye Veier and Veidekke, the parties have agreed to proceed with the
process.
Now there is an appeal deadline on Friday 29 September. If no objections are
raised, contract signing is planned for Tuesday 3 October.
