VANCOUVER, British Columbia, November 6, 2017 -- Naturally Splendid Enterprises Ltd. (Naturally Splendid or NSE) (TSX-V:NSP) (OTCQB:NSPDF) (Frankfurt:50N) is pleased to announce that the Company expects to receive final approval from Japanese authorities to distribute CBD formulated capsules in Japan in short order.

Naturally Splendid CEO Mr. Dave Eto comments, NSE has contributed significant work towards the application process to launch our first CBD infused products into the Japanese market through an e-commerce campaign being managed by First Step Japan (FSJ). FSJ is a marketing and distribution company located in Tokyo with extensive expertise in the Japanese consumer market. An initial order for the Japanese market has been placed in anticipation of final approval from the Japanese authorities. NSEs Japanese specific website for this market will be activated immediately upon final approval.

Furthermore, Naturally Splendid has received an update from Ambarri Corp regarding the sale and distribution of Ambariis proprietary mouth-melt full spectrum hemp CBD tablets (Ambarii CBD Tablets) to be marketed in Japan and South Korea under the NATERA® CBD brand. Initial samples incorporating Naturally Splendids HempOmega technology and Ambariis proprietary fast-acting and highly absorbant delivery mechanism are being provided for evaluation and testing.
Ambarii CBD Tablets are quick dissolving and offer a metered dose of full spectrum hemp oil, combined with the powerful antioxidant properties of pterostilbene. The tablets will be flavor variant with zero-sugar. Ambarii CBD Tablets represent a market first and the only commercially ready tablet of its kind. The incorporation of HempOmega into this already unique offering, and is differentiator when compared to products in the same category.

Ambarii, a joint venture between NeutriSci and Lexaria Bioscience Corp, was founded to develop and utilize the proprietary and patented technology of both Neutrisci and Lexaria. Lexaria, a drug delivery platform innovator, recently announced it has received a new Notice of Allowance from the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) for the use of its technology as a delivery platform for all cannabinoids including THC; fat soluble vitamins; non-steroidal anti-inflammatory pain medications (NSAIDs); and nicotine. The technology that Lexaria has recently received the Notice for Allowance from the USPTO, provides superior fast acting absorption which will be a significant differentiator for Japanese consumers looking for high quality products.
