Move in response to strong market demand for surface and borehole microseismic
fracture monitoring and fluid mapping services
Houston, July 28, 2011. Spectraseis today announced the opening of its third
North American office in Calgary, Canada and the appointment of Todd Chuckry as
Country Manager for Canada. The move follows the company's successful opening of
offices in Houston and Denver earlier this year.
Spectraseis CEO, Ross Newman, said:
We are pleased to announce the opening of our office in Calgary to better serve
customers in Canada. We are seeing a high level of interest in our technology
and service offerings in the areas of surface and borehole microseismic fracture
monitoring and reservoir fluid mapping. Calgary was the next natural step as it
is a rapidly growing market. Spectraseis will be providing our full suite of
service offerings to the Canadian energy sector.
The company has appointed Todd Chuckry as Country Manger Canada, and Rob Oulton
as Microseismic Sales and Marketing Representative. Both Chuckry and Oulton have
an extensive background in the Canadian geophysical services market.
