Christmas at CADENAS this year already began in November
(PresseBox) - There was good reason for CADENAS to be happy already a month before Christmas: In November, the 3D CAD models download portal PARTcommunity registered an absolute record for CAD downloads per month of nearly 25.5 million parts. "We're excited that our users are so convinced about PARTcommunity and treat us to such record numbers", says Jürgen Heimbach, CEO of CADENAS. "Together with the increasing number of users, it's important feedback for us. They also let us know which parts and manufacturer catalogs they require via the preferred catalog function. We do all we can to continually expand the offer on PARTcommunity and to be the first point of contact for engineers, designers and CAD users."
The next record is already in view: Number of annual downloads will be surpassed
Since the beginning of 2017, there has been an increasing number of monthly downloads of 3D CAD engineering data on the 3D CAD download portal PARTcommunity. Nearly every month has seen downloads of over 20 million ? in 2016 such numbers were registered in certain months, whereas in 2017 the number has now been established. "Our specified goal was for 240 million downloads per year", Jürgen Heimbach explains and adds with a wink: "We know already that we'll clearly top that number!"

Constant optimizations, extensions and outstanding innovations are the basis for the increasing trend of CAD models downloads on the CADENAS portal. Engineers and designers worldwide can download 3D CAD components around the clock and import them into their CAD system in more than 100 genuine native formats such as Autodesk, Revit, SolidEdge, SolidWorks, NX etc. The entire contents of over 460 manufacturer-certified CAD product catalogs are available to them. The download portal also offers extensive intelligent search functions such as 2D sketches search or the Geometric Similarity Search GEOsearch.
