In this connection, qualification plays a decisive role. Würth Industrie Service GmbH & Co. KG recognized this need early on and formed a team of PPE experts for its customers already back in 2007. Their expertise was now backed up further by the seminar for future PPE product specialists that was organized by TÜV SÜD Akademie. From November 27th to December 1st 2017, 16 employees participated in this in-depth further education seminar at Industriepark Würth in Bad Mergentheim.
The five-day seminar aims at conveying knowledge and building up certified expertise in the field of personal protective equipment. Understanding the legal requirements, rules and standards, as well as the rights and duties both of the employer and the employee are important components of the seminar. Lecturers from renowned experts in the world of personal protective equipment like 3M, Uvex, Skylotec, MIDAS, Peter Greven, Kübler and Steitz Secura presented theoretical basics and sample applications, and talked about their own experiences in a clear and practice-oriented manner.
This qualification helps to cater even better to the needs, the individual conditions and the work situation of customers, and it enables participants to offer support not just in the product area, but also in the field of automated system solutions for replenishment operations.
