TradeDoubler named preferred network in Europe

The digital marketing company TradeDoubler has been named the preferred
affiliate network in Europe in a survey among more than 1,000 affiliates,
conducted by the trade association for affiliate and performance marketing A4U.
One in four affiliates preferred TradeDoubler to all other affiliate networks.
Affiliates chose TradeDoubler as their favourite network based on the following
five attributes:
* Tracking reliability
* Quality of merchants & advertisers
* Payment reliability
* Payment frequency
* Range of advertisers

The study revealed that over 20 per cent of affiliates look at increasing their
activities in social media during 2011. Among the different markets, Germany is
the most popular for cross-country expansion, which is also supported by the
strong growth in Germany reported by TradeDoubler for the first half of 2011.
The 2011 A4U European Affiliate Marketing Landscape Report also showed that
performance marketing is an important source of revenue for most affiliates. A
third of the surveyed affiliates had over 80 per cent of their income from
