Amsterdam, the Netherlands, August 08, 2011 - Ahold has repurchased 1,540,336
Ahold common shares in the period from August 1, 2011 up to and including August
5, 2011. The shares were repurchased at an average price of ? 9.0249 per share
for a total consideration of ? 13.90 million. These repurchases were made as
part of the ? 1 billion share buyback program announced on March 3, 2011.
The total number of shares repurchased under this program to date is 31,100,818
common shares for a total consideration of ? 291.47 million.
