For operation in vehicles, UBF EDV Handel und Beratung Jürgen Fischer GmbH now introduces an 8-port PoE Power over Ethernet switch with E13 E-Mark certification

(PresseBox) - The application areas are e.g.: emergency vehicles for police and fire brigade, buses, freight forwarders, factory traffic, agricultural machinery or construction site vehicles etc..

With 8 Gigabit Ethernet high PoE ports, cameras, IP phones, scanners, access points or other devices can be connected to the LAN and at the same time provided by up to 30W power per end device via the RJ-45 data line.

The Gigabit Ethernet ports support 9.6KBytes Jumbo Frames and provide sufficient bandwidth even for high-resolution cameras.

The input voltage range from 12V DC up to 36V DC allows operation at 12V or 24V batteries or power supplies without additional voltage transformers.

The optional available switch with extended temperature range is ideal for use in non-air-conditioned areas.
