Although drilling continues on the company's Eastern Extension property in
Quebec, an Abitibi Greenstone Belt project hosting significant gold
mineralization, BonTerra is also developing its Symphony silver property in
British Columbia.
The Symphony property, located in the Omineca mining division of British
Columbia, approximately 29 kilometres southwest of Houston, consists of one
contiguous block of claims totalling 2,975 hectares. It is easily accessed by a
well-maintained forestry road, and, most significantly, is directly bordering
the past-producing Silver Queen Mine.
Initially discovered in 1912, the Silver Queen Mine boasts historical grades of
299 grams per tonne silver, 6.17 grams per tonne gold, 6.73 % zinc, 1.16% lead
and 0.47% copper. The Silver Queen went into production from 1972 to 1973, and
in the late 1980s an extensive development and exploration project was conducted
consisting of surface and underground diamond drilling and lateral development
on three underground levels.
1988 saw a feasibility study on Silver Queen under the direction of Houston
Metals Corp. and the metal recoveries with the technology available at that time
precluded a production decision. Back to the present day and the property is
currently being advanced by New Nadina Explorations (TSXV:NNA). New Nadina's
drill program revealed grades of up to 493 grams per tonne silver, 5 grams per
tonne gold, 13.5% zinc, 6% lead and 2.88% copper.
And just to the north of Symphony, at the Silver Streak prospect, sampling
across a trench in 1989 averaged 1.99% copper and 338 grams per tonne silver
over 33 metres. An inclined diamond drill hole was drilled underneath this
trench in 1991 and a zone grading 8.8 metres of 0.49% copper and 258 grams per
tonne silver, within 21.1 metres averaging 0.27% copper and 127 grams per tonne
silver, was discovered.
Another trench excavated in 2002 graded .26% copper and 1.91 grams per tonne
silver over 16.7 metres. The mineralized zone is believed to have a northwest-
southeast strike and, once again, is heading in the direction of BonTerra's
Symphony property, which appears to be strategically situated.

A new electomagnetic airborne survey by Fugro Airborne Surveys, covering the
entire Symphony property, is scheduled to be flown in late August or early
September. Totalling 308 line kilometres of magnetic readings, BonTerra plans on
using the survey to identify additional targets of interest in its evaluation
for silver and base metal mineralization potential on the property.
BonTerra President Mitchell Adam commented, "With the Silver Queen Mine to the
south and the Silver Streak property to the north, BonTerra has made the
decision to fly the aeromagnetic survey on the Symphony property in BC. As
silver is currently trading around $40 an ounce, the strategic location of the
Symphony property is of great interest to us. BonTerra is also fully committed
and continues to drill our Eastern Extension gold property in Quebec which hosts
significant gold mineralization with grades up to 114 grams per tonne. BonTerra
has recently discovered a 169.70 metre intercept grading 0.73 grams per tonne
gold. Ser within this are high grade intervals assaying up to 54 grams per
tonne. We are very excited to be working towards an inferred resource
calculation.
We firmly believe that BonTerra is extremely well positioned to take advantage
of bullish markets in both gold and silver."
BonTerra currently trades at $0.195, and with approximately 72 million shares
outstanding is capitalized at about $14 million.
