The new GEZE TS 5000 SoftClose overhead door closer
(PresseBox) - Reliable, safe and silent closing of doors even in environmental conditions that do not so obviously lend themselves to this level of comfort, like the generally narrow interlocking door system areas of underground car park entrances, staircases or wind or heavy suction ? these are the advantages of the new TS 5000 SoftClose door closer. Door slamming is prevented by damping the door shortly before the closing position.
The real ?strength? of the TS 5000 SoftClose is its exceptionally high end closing force. The closing speed can be set individually within an opening angle of between 0 - 15°. Thanks to its optimised closing process, doors are pulled into the lock securely with constant force. The TS 5000 SoftClose door closer is the perfect solution for clients desiring or needing their doors to close quietly, gently and securely, e.g. in hospitals, hotels and apartment buildings. It fulfils DIN 18040 demands for barrier-free construction up to a leaf width of 1,100 millimetres.
The new door closer can replace existing versions of the TS 5000. It is compatible with all GEZE guide rails. The TS 5000 SoftClose can be used with single and double leaf doors and a range of door systems and is flexible in terms of its installation.
