(PresseBox) - The SLM Solutions Group AG, a leading provider of metal-based additive manufacturing technology, will present the current development state of metal-based SLM® manufacturing technology at INDUSTRIE PARIS 2018. The 3D-printing experts from Lübeck will be represented as an exhibitor at booth 5M146 from March 27 to 30.
INDUSTRIE PARIS is the largest international industry fair in France for any equipment that is required in the production process: tools, machines, measurement techniques, auxiliary materials and software. Visitors can look forward to a wide range of new developments. Conferences, material demonstrations and attractive supporting events will round out the program.
The selective laser melting machine SLM®280 2.0 will be at the heart of the trade fair exhibit of SLM Solutions, which handles the complete process chain (closed loop) of additive manufacturing: from data generation to the melting process and all the way to powder recovery and recycling. The SLM®280 is the ideal "all-purpose system" for both R+D divisions as well as for production processes using the SLM® process. The SLM®280 2.0 creates high-quality metal components based on 3D CAD data. Measuring 280 x 280 x 365 mm³, the machine provides one of the largest installation spaces in its class as well as patented multi-beam technology. The powerful 700 W lasers, which expose the build field during the build process via 3D scan optics, further shorten build times.
