SLM Solutions to showcase SLM®500 in Poland
International trade fair for metalworking, machine tools and tools from 10-12.4.2018 in Kielce
(PresseBox) - High-performance machine with large build envelope: SLM Solutions Group AG will present the SLM®500 at STOM-TOOL 2018 in Kielce. Visitors to the trade fair, taking place from 10-12 April 2018, will be able to find out more about SLM® additive manufacturing technology at the stand of Polish partner Wadim Plast (stand A-22).
The STOM-TOOL trade fair will take place for the 11th time from 10-12 April 2018 in Kielce. The exhibition for metal processing and metallurgy covers everything from metal processing machinery (milling, turning, stamping, shaping, grinding, cutting, welding), surface finishing systems, tools and equipment to robots and complete production lines. Alongside manufacturers and service providers, there will be many other organizations represented at the event, including various industry associations, institutes, scientific bodies and specialist publishers. The event program includes scientific seminars focusing on topics such as 3D printing.
SLM Solutions Group AG will be exhibiting at STOM-TOOL 2018 in Kielce together with Polish partner Wadim Plast. This joint participation will center around the SLM®500 selective laser melting machine, which boasts a large build envelope of 500 x 280 x 365 mm³, patented multi-beam technology and up to four 700-W fiber lasers. This versatile machine offers high productivity and is suitable for the series production of complex components. It is designed for use in manufacturing environments. A second build cylinder makes it possible to start the next build process simultaneously, reducing downtimes and auxiliary process times and increasing machine utilization. At stand A-22 in Kielce, the specialists for 3D printing will provide information about the full range of SLM® metal-based additive manufacturing technology, as well as the potential uses for SLM® machinery in industry.
