5 April 2018 - Jadar Lithium Limited (ASX: JDR) (Jadar or the Company) is pleased to announce that it has completed its maiden reconnaissance and sampling program on its wholly owned Cer and Bukulja projects. The Bukulja project is considered prospective for lithium and associated accessory mineral bearing pegmatites, as well as, sediment hosted borate mineralisation with possible lithium minerals. The Cer project, which is located approximately 10km from Rio Tintos world class Jadar deposit, is also considered prospective for pegmatite bearing lithium and associated mineralisation.

Reconnaissance mapping of the Bukulja project has resulted in the definition of a number of pegmatite outcrops. Whilst the currently defined pegmatites are too narrow to be considered economically viable at present, the Company is encouraged by the presence of the anomalous zones, especially as the vegetation may cover additional anomalous zones. The Company collected a total of 10 outcrop samples from the observed, outcropping pegmatites.





In conjunction with the reconnaissance outcrop sampling, Jadars technical team also collected 54 stream sediment samples throughout the Bukulja license. The program aims to define zones of anomalous lithium mineralisation which will be the focus of the follow up field mapping and additional sampling.

An initial desktop study of the sedimentary basin which is present within the southern part of the Bukulja permit has concluded that the thickness of the sedimentary package, as well as, the sedimentary sequences may be prospective for sediment hosted lithium and borate mineralisation. The Company plans to further evaluate the prospectivity of the basin, which will include follow up surface sampling and analysis, prior to a decision on additional mapping and outcrop sampling where indicated.

The work on the Cer project has resulted in the definition of numerous pegmatitic outcrops within the permit. The pegmatite bodies are predominantly concentrated on the southern side of the license area.

The noted pegmatite occurrences were noted in swarms and with a number of outcrops present in significant widths, which in some instances were estimated to be up to 10 meters in thickness. While the vegetative overburden prohibited detailed mapping of the individual dikes, the Company is encouraged by the numerous occurrences, which may also indicate that the pegmatite dikes may show continuous strike length and significant widths.

Jadar collected a total of 40 rock chip samples and approximately 110 stream sediment samples on the Cer project.

The Company will be immediately submitting the samples to the ALS laboratory in Bor, Serbia for multi element analysis to determine the value of lithium and associated mineralisation. The Company will also submit a number of hard rock samples for mineralogical evaluations and XRD analysis.

On receipt of the results, the Company will determine the follow up program on the most prospective zones on both the Cer and Bukulja projects.

Preparations for the initial field program on Jadars wholly owned Krajkovac, Rekovac and Vranje projects are under way. The Company will inform the market of further developments related to those projects in the near future.
