TORONTO / DUBLIN / LOS ANGELES 13 June 2018 -- QYOU Media (TSXV: QYOU OTC: QYOUF), the world's leading curator of premium 'best-of-the-web' video for multiscreen distribution, today announced it has been awarded a ThinkLA IDEA award for Best Social Campaign. The award recognizes QYOUs development and execution of an influencer marketing campaign with 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment for the DVD release of DreamWorks Trolls, which set out to engage younger audiences through co-created content.

The ThinkLA IDEA Awards was founded eight years ago, and celebrates excellence and achievement across Southern Californias advertising and marketing industry. Judged by a panel of industry experts the Best Social Campaign acknowledges exciting and effective approaches to shaping social conversation in support of marketing efforts. The QYOUs campaign was selected for utilizing the social video service Musical.ly as a core platform to target a highly engaged younger audience.

Musical.ly lets users create-15 second music videos of their favorite songs to share with friends, which connected with the music-focused Trolls movie. QYOU utilized the platform to build engagement through co-creation and fans love of music, by enlisting popular Musical.ly influencers such as Danielle Cohn, Jayden Bartels, Ruby Rose Turner and Casey Simpson to create videos of themselves singing to music hits from the movie. The videos were shared with over 22 million followers achieving 13.8% engagement, and helping the Trolls Musical.ly page to increase its followers by 23%.
