MES HYDRA supports JIT / JIS
Flexible software solution for the automotive sector
(PresseBox) - Dynamic Manufacturing Control (DMC), a module of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) HYDRA by MPDV, supports automotive suppliers to comply with complex logistic concepts like Just in Time and Just in Sequence (JIT / JIS).
In order to be able to manufacture in a highly efficient and cost-effective manner, automobile producers force their suppliers to deliver components directly to the assembly lines on call and in a specified sequence. To do so, suppliers need a flexible software system to comply with these demands. HYDRA DMC enables manufacturing companies to manufacture versatile products more flexible and to lower costs, much easier than is possible with a conventional control technology.
Features
For this, HYDRA DMC provides functions to monitor and control assembly lines including real time process locking. The application also provides a user-friendly operator guidance for paperless production. Integrated quality assurance functions enable a zero-defect production as required by the automobile manufacturers.
Practical experience
Today, manufacturers of door panels, dashboards and center consoles benefit from DMC functions which can be seamlessly integrated into the MES HYDRA by MPDV.
